American’s Passenger division is the largest scheduled passenger airline in the world.  American serves over 172 cities.  The corporate headquarters is located in Fort Worth, Texas. American Airlines also operates American Eagle, and is affiliated with many others (for some regional flights). AAdvantage Rewards Programs/Perks:

American's program is called AAdvantage.  They offer award tickets in exchange for miles. There are other rewards that may be earned in exchange for miles.  If you have an AAdvantage credit card you can earn miles for charges and redeem them for rewards. There are three status levels of membership in AAdvantage: Gold, Platinum, and Executive Platinum.  Status members get mileage bonuses, priority boarding, complementary or discounted membership to the Admirals Club
